The Decision Access Map™ Workshop | Dharma Funder®
A 90-Minute Workshop - June 11, 8 AM PT

Under pressure, leaders don't make worse decisions. They lose access to the decisions they would normally make.

A working session for senior leaders whose judgment has quietly narrowed under sustained load, and who want a map for what's happening before it costs them something they can't recover.

90 Minutes · Virtual · Next Cohort To Be Announced
The Premise

The cost arrives quietly.

You are still performing. Meetings still land. The calendar still holds. From the outside, nothing is obviously wrong.

Inside, something else is happening. Conversations that used to be easy now require rehearsal. Delegation costs more than doing it yourself. Strategic thinking needs a blocked calendar. A decision that would have taken a weekend is now sitting in its fourth week.

This is not a motivation problem. It is not a time-management problem. It is not a mindset problem.

It is a structural problem, and it has a name.

The Method

The Decision Access Map™

A five-stage framework for what happens to leadership judgment under sustained pressure, and where the real leadership moment actually lives.

Stage 01 / Signal

Something arrives.

A message. A disagreement. A deadline. A request. At this stage the leader still has full access to every option on the table. Judgment is intact. The field of possibility is open.

Stage 02 / Pressure

Consequence becomes visible.

Reputation. Money. Relationship. Risk. The stakes enter the system. The body registers them before the mind names them. Pressure is now part of the decision.

Stage 03 / Compression

The field narrows.

This is the critical moment. The brain begins narrowing the field of acceptable outcomes, not consciously, automatically. Options that create tension disappear first. What remains are the options that reduce pressure fastest. The leader does not notice this is happening.

Stage 04 / Relief Decision

A choice gets made.

The leader believes they are making the best choice. They are actually choosing the option that reduces internal pressure. Speed replaces evaluation. The decision feels decisive. It is not. It is a release.

Stage 05 / Justification

The brain defends what just happened.

Not because the decision was correct. Because admitting it was pressure-driven would create more pressure. Explanations increase. Certainty performs. The decision locks before its consequences are visible.

The real leadership moment happened during compression. That moment lasts seconds. What you learn in the workshop is how to see it before it passes.

Inside The 90 Minutes

What you leave with

One

The five stages, named.

A working vocabulary for what has been happening to your judgment under load. Once you can name it, you stop interpreting it as personal failure.

Two

Three early-detection signals.

How to recognize compression in your own system before performance drops. The tells that appear days or weeks before a decision breaks.

Three

The Reverse Pressure move.

A structural technique for restoring decision access when the field has already narrowed. Usable in real time, in real meetings, on the decisions you are carrying now.

Four

A map you can take with you.

The Decision Access Map™ applied to a current situation you bring into the room. Not a theoretical exercise. A live one.

Dharma Funder
About Dharma

The work at the level of structure, not performance.

Dharma Funder® works with senior leaders, founders, and high-responsibility operators whose decision-making systems are operating under sustained load. The work is structural advisory. Not coaching, not therapy, not consulting. The distinction matters because the diagnosis matters.

The Decision Access Map™ is proprietary methodology developed through eighteen years of work at the intersection of capacity, performance, and judgment under pressure. It is the framework underneath Signal Loss, the forthcoming book on why capable leaders stop choosing well when the load compounds.

This workshop is one entry point into the work. For leaders who want to go further, the six-week DAM™ Cohort is the next structural container.

Before You Decide

Questions worth asking.

Is this coaching?

No. Coaching is facilitative. It helps you find your own answers. This is structural advisory. It names what is happening inside your decision-making system and provides a framework for where the breakdown actually lives. Many leaders come to this work after coaching has stopped producing the shifts they need.

Is this therapy?

No. This is not clinical work and does not substitute for clinical care. The focus is on leadership capacity, decision access, and the structural conditions that produce sustainable judgment under load.

Who is this actually for?

Senior leaders, founders, executives, and high-responsibility operators who are still performing externally but can feel something has narrowed internally. It is especially relevant for those in a strategic inflection, sustained pressure saturation, or a decision stall they cannot move.

What do I bring into the workshop?

One current decision you are carrying. It can be business, personal, or a decision you are deliberately not making. The framework gets applied live. You leave with a map of where your access has narrowed on that specific situation.

Why is the workshop free?

The workshop is the front door to deeper work. The six-week DAM™ Cohort and the private advisory are the containers where structural change happens. Opening the framework to qualified leaders is the most honest way to introduce the method.

When is the next workshop?

The next cohort has not been announced. Requesting a seat puts you on the private list; dates and details go out to that list first, before any public announcement.

Next Cohort To Be Announced

If something in your decision-making is asking for attention, this is a place to begin.

The workshop runs small and by request. Put your name on the list below and you'll hear first when the next date is set.
